The 3^rd Annual Conference of the ACA – African Cashew Alliance was held in Dar Es Salaam (Tanzania) from the 17^th to the 19^th of September. It was attended by more than 130 participants from more than 20 countries who met to discuss and exchange ideas, projects and information on the cashew sector. ACA (the association founded in Baltimore in 2005 with the aim of promoting the African cashew worldwide) has among its members OLTREMARE whose managing director – Dr Stefano Massari – has contributed to the Conference with a presentation on the processing technologies of this valuable fruit, that have made the Italian company a worldwide leader since 1960. OLTREMARE is opinion leader in cashew processing technology and in this respect it has introduced many new original and effective techniques and solutions that were presented during the Conference to the sector specialists.
